The event was a success! Our speakers Gloria and Ellyn blown the audience away with their terrific sharing on image presentation, grooming, make-up tips and tricks.. and many more! The participants had a great time as they were engaged in an interactive session with our professional speakers! There were greeting exercises, peer assessment of dressing and colours, make-up demonstrations and quizzes. Our sponsors, Environ and Jane Iredale generously gave out door gifts to not only the participants, but helpers as well!
We are also reminded of God’s grace and mercy. Jesus came to bring restoration to our lives. One of the things He came to restore is a healthy, balanced self-image. He loves us and desires that we learn to love and accept ourselves. We are created in God’s image. Every woman ought to know she has been positioned by the Lord in a strategic place in her world to make a difference!

Le Papillon is an image and grooming workshop aimed at young women. It is created to celebrate the natural physical variation embodied by all women and inspire them to have the confidence to be comfortable with themselves.
A study, sponsored by Dove, called “The Real Truth About Asian Beauty: Asian Women’s Attitudes Toward Self-Esteem, Body Image, and Media Portrayal” was conducted in 10 asian countries.
While Asian women overwhelmingly feel that beautiful women have greater opportunities in life, few consider themselves beautiful. When asked how they would choose to describe themselves, nearly a third chose “simple or natural” followed by “average or normal.” (Source: Dove)
Why is this happening?
We live in an era overwhelmed by the media’s distorted portray of beauty. Women constantly feel that they are not good enough be it our body shape, looks or even the way we communicate.
Our Desire..
It is our desire to help women to establish their confidence and a healthy balanced self-image through a 1-day workshop to provide simple tips and tricks on how to embrace one’s beauty.

Absolutely NO! This workshop is for EVERY lady who wants to discover their true self and beauty. Le Papillon believes that every women blossems into their own butterfly.
